1. Storefront Data Aggregation
StoreXray is a tool that analyzes public, open-source endpoints of Shopify storefronts (such as public product feeds and layout metadata). We do not access, gather, or store any private store metrics, customer identities, or financial logs.
2. Visitor Information & Privacy Guardrails
We design our system to minimize data footprint:
- We do not save or store raw IP addresses. All user IP records are salted and hashed immediately to protect anonymity.
- We collect email addresses exclusively through explicit user submission (e.g., when unlocking the top product teaser).
- We do not share, sell, or distribute your email addresses to third parties.
3. Tracking & Analytics
We track anonymous, aggregated click events on sharing controls (Twitter, clipboard copy, and card downloads) to improve our viral features and evaluate engagement metrics.
4. Security
We employ standard industry safeguards to secure stored emails and cached records. All data transfers occur over encrypted HTTPS connections.
5. User Choices & Opt-Outs
